Home Page

Welcome to the Hallam Primary School PTFA page.  We are a  group of parents, plus a staff representative, who get together quite informally once a half term to discuss and plan a number of fundraising activities.

The objective of the PTFA is to raise funds to support the school. We also support the school where we can with their fundraising and other activities.

Over the last academic year (2018-2019) we supported the school by helping to fund the Outdoor Learning area and the Daily Mile Track. In the past we have funded a new ICT suite and ipads for whole school use, refurbishment of the school hall including sound and lighting systems, outdoor play equipment and sports kit.

We raise funds through a number of key events each year (Christmas Fair in December, personalised Christmas cards and tea towels created by the children, a Summer Fete in July, a Quiz Night, Discos, Movie Nights, cake sales, ice pop sales and other one-off events). Last year we managed to raise almost £24,000!

We always welcome new parents/carers, and getting involved is a great way of meeting other parents and teachers throughout the school whom you may not otherwise come into contact with, creating a sense of community whilst also doing something positive to make our children's time at Hallam Primary a more rewarding experience.

Fundraising with the Co-op

Between October 2019 and October 2020, Hallam Primary PTFA are a Co-op Community Fund Local Cause. For the time we are a local cause, the Co-op will donate 1% of what members spend on Co-op products directly to the PTFA when you use your membership card.

You can earn money for the school every time you purchase a Co-op product. It won't cost you anything and you can earn 5% back for yourself.

We have been a beneficiary of the Co-op Local Community Fund before and raised a fantastic £3800 in 2017-2018 which helped to build the Outdoor Learning area/Daily Mile Track. Please help us to maximise our potential earnings

  • If you don’t already have a membership card please sign up instore or at and choose Hallam Primary School PTFA as your nominated cause.
