Welcome to the Hallam Primary School PTFA page.  We are a  group of parents, plus a staff representative, who get together quite informally once a half term to discuss and plan a number of fundraising activities.


Over the last academic year (2018-2019) we supported the school by helping to fund the Outdoor Learning area and the Daily Mile Track. In the past we have funded a new ICT suite and ipads for whole school use, refurbishment of the school hall including sound and lighting systems, outdoor play equipment and sports kit.


We raise funds through a number of key events each year (Christmas Fair in December, personalised Christmas cards and tea towels created by the children, a Summer Fete in July, a Quiz Night, Discos, Movie Nights, cake sales, ice pop sales and other one-off events). Last year we managed to raise almost £24,000!


We always welcome new parents/carers, and getting involved is a great way of meeting other parents and teachers throughout the school whom you may not otherwise come into contact with, creating a sense of community whilst also doing something positive to make our children's time at Hallam Primary a more rewarding experience.

Friday 22nd November - PTFA donation day and non uniform day (donations of NEW bottles, toiletries, chocolates, biscuits, bric-a-brac and Christmas items please)

Here at Hallam Primary School we’re busy fundraising by collecting old British or foreign coins and notes, even obsolete currency. Initially you'll see lots of posters around the school as well as the collection bucket. Once all the currency has been collected we send it to who exchanges it into cash we can use. The bucket will be here all year so keep it coming please.
