Welcome to the Hallam Primary School PTFA page. We are a group of parents, plus a staff representative, who get together quite informally once a half term to discuss and plan a number of fundraising activities. In the past we have funded a new ICT suite and I-pads for whole school use, refurbishment of the school hall including sound and lighting systems, outdoor play equipment, sports kit and much more. We raise the funds for these donations through a number of key events each year (a Christmas Fair in early December, the sale of personalised Christmas cards and tea towels created by the children, a Summer Fete in July, an annual Quiz Night with Pie ‘n Pea Supper, Discos, Movie Nights, half-termly cake sales and other one-off events). Last year we managed to raise over £11,000.
We always welcome new parents/carers, and getting involved is a great way of meeting other parents and teachers throughout the school whom you may not otherwise come into contact with, creating a sense of community whilst also doing something positive to make our children's time at Hallam Primary a more rewarding experience.

If you would like to get involved or would like any further information, please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Here at Hallam Primary School we’re busy fundraising by collecting old British or foreign coins and notes, even obsolete currency. Initially you'll see lots of posters around the school as well as the collection bucket. Once all the currency has been collected we send it to www.cash4coins.co.uk who exchanges it into cash we can use. The bucket will be here all year so keep it coming please.
